Jihad recruiter condemned to 20 years in Austria

The 34-year-old “brainwashed” dozens of people aged between 14 and 30, according to a open prosecutor, and recruited a series of them to fight for a jihadist organization in Syria.

A justice in a southern city of Graz found a preacher, who goes by the name of Ebu Tejma, guilty of belonging to a militant organization and of inciting militant attacks following a hearing that has been using since February. 

Tejma fled from Bosnia to Vienna following a break-up of Yugoslavia and preached in several Austrian and southern German cities, apropos a “key figure” in pulling IS propaganda, a charge said.

He was arrested during a inclusive crackdown on Austrian jihadist networks in 2014 and denies a charges opposite him.
